Justin Golak is a young, up-and-coming comedian. This Cleveland, Ohio native, and Ohio State graduate, started performing stand-up comedy in Columbus, Ohio during his senior year at OSU in the fall of 2006. Since then, he has been a finalist in the 2007 Columbus Funny Bone’s Funniest Person in Columbus Contest and has been featured in Ohio State’s Official Newspaper The Lantern, Columbus Alive, and The Columbus Dispatch. On stage, Justin offers his views on relationships, “interesting” people, growing up and graduating. He delivers his observations with a biting, sarcastic wit that becomes endearing when you realize he takes aim at himself, as much as any other subject. Justin’s comfort with the stage and the microphone makes the audience feel more like they’re cracking jokes with a friend then listening to an act. After seeing Justin live, you’ll only be left with one question… when can I see him next?
Coming from a background as a theatre actress and dancer, Cherie began performing burlesque with the Ooh-La-Las in 2008. Since then, she has performed all over Ohio, as well as at the 2011 Show-Me Burlesque Festival, the 2011 Great Southern Exposure Burlesque and Variety Pageant, and 2012 Windy City Burlesque Festival.
Cherie stepped into the role of producer in 2010 with Stars and Strips: A Salute to America, an annual fundraiser for the military and military families now in its third year. She formed her production company, Mon Cherie Entertainment in February 2012 and is the producer of Razzle-Dazzle Burlesque, Nerdlesque: A Sexy Celebration of All Things Nerdy, The Rock N’ Roll Burlesque Show, Amateur Tassel Night, Burlesque Trivia and co-producer of Girls, Gags, and Giggles. She also produced the stage show, Calendar Girls in November 2011.
Recently, Cherie has begun to teach the art of burlesque. She formed Blondell’s School of Burlesque in 2012.
